The Chair of Educational Technology and Instructional Design / Learning Lab of University Duisburg-Essen appreciates your interest in pursuing doctoral research with our team. However, please note the following:

• Currently, our Lab is not accepting applications for doctoral supervision.

• Professor Kerres is not available as a supervisor for external doctoral candidates.

• This restriction also applies to applications for research grants or stays in Germany submitted by international researchers (e.g., DAAD, Humboldt Foundation), as such requests cannot be supported.

• Please note that our university does not offer a doctoral program in Educational Science.

• All available positions at our lab will be published on this (and other) websites.

• Es werden grundsätzlich keine externen Promotionen am Lehrstuhl von Professor Kerres betreut, sondern nur Dissertationsvorhaben von Mitarbeitenden, die am Lehrstuhl beschäftigt sind.
